Churchill varsity baseball swept a home double header against Dearborn, 7 - 2 and 11 - 1.
Game 1 had strong pitching from starter Jake Rudd. Jake went 6 innings allowing 1 run while striking out 11 and only walking 2. The offense was led by Jake Rudd and Noah Campbell with 2 runs scored for each. Campbell also collected 2 RBI's. Jake also collected 3 hits.
Game 2 also had strong starting pitching from Noah Campbell. Noah went all 5 innings, struck out 7 and only allowed 1 hit.
The offense was led by Brendon Lowry, Drew Bush, Luke Jaroszewich and Garrett Verble. Brendon scored 3 runs while the others all scored 2 each. Lowry and Vinnie Varcoe each had 2 RBI's while Chris Sergison collected 3 RBI's. Vinnie had the walk off game winner to complete the mercy victory.
