Wednesday afternoon Churchill dropped a pair of games to Livonia Franklin, 1 - 7 & 5 - 10.
Game 1 saw the Chargers and Patriots tied at 1 after 3 innings. Franklin then scored 2 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th and 3 more in the 6th. The offense was led by Brendon Lowry 3 hits. Noah Campbell contributed a hit and 2 walks.
In game 2, down 10 - 1 in the 7th,the Chargers tried to make a game of it by scoring 4 times. The late rally was spurred by 3 straight RBI hits by Brendon Lowry, Connor Burnette and Jake Rudd (2).
