The boys Varsity baseball team took a pair of games from the Dearborn Pioneers (10 - 2, 7 - 4)

In the season opener, Jake Rudd pitched 6 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits, 3 walks and 6 strikeouts to earn the win. The Chargers jumped into the lead with a 6 run first inning and never look back. Ryan Kennell (freshman) in his first Varsity game helped lead the way offensively with a single, double, walk, 2 runs scored (including first on new field) and an RBI. Brendan Lowry added 3 walks, a triple and 2 runs scored. Senior catcher Vinnie Varcoe chipped in with 2 singles and an RBI.

In game 2, Senior Noah Campbell also pitched 6 strong innings for the win. He allowed 1 earned run on 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. Kennel continued his hot hitting with another single, double, walk and 2 runs scored. Cam Greener added a double, walk 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Brendan Lowry also remained hot at the plate with 2 singles, a stolen base and a run scored.
