Amy Osborn
Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach
Girls Varsity Volleyball
Amy is in her second year as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Churchill and her first year as the Freshman Head Coach. Her volleyball career began as a manager when she was in 4th grade. She played her High School career at Corunna for her father, Richard Osborn. While at Corunna she earned All-Tournament, All-District, All-Region and All-State honors multiple times as a 4 year setter for the Cavaliers. She went on and played College Volleyball at Muskegon Community College for Ed Bailey, where her role changed to be a defensive specialist(prior to the libero position). After her 2 years at MCC she had her name in the record books for a number of titles, including the last record that was broke this past Fall for the most successful serves(24) in a 3 game match against GRJC. During and after college she began her coaching career at Fruitport and Corunna. In 1994 she moved to the Livonia area and continued her coaching at Farmington Hills Mercy. During the off-season she coaches a 16's and 17's team for Force Volleyball Academy. She also enjoys spending time working on The Osborn Family Farm in Bear Lake, Michigan. Her daughter, Kelsey, is a 2011 Churchill CAPA graduate who now lives in Los Angeles.
