Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field Team for their 3rd place finish at the KLAA Conference meet this past Friday. It was a perfect day for setting some meet and school records. The Girls 4 x 800m relay team of Christina Murphy, Megan Gendjar, Caroline George and Gabby Swider won the race and set a new KLAA Meet record of 9:19.85. Takia Bradley set another school record, this time in the 100m hurdles in a time of 15.3, breaking the old one from 1981. Cate Visscher won the pole vault with a new PR of 10'9" along with Natalia Yurgil who PR'd with 10'6". The team prepares this week for the Regional Meet Championships.
