Last Tuesday the Junior Varsity traveled to Wayne Memorial for the Annual JV Invitational.  Coach Urban and the team took on multiple teams and brought home the 2nd place trophy.  They head to John Glenn this evening for a quad match.  Their record heading into the quad is 8-5.

On Wednesday the Freshman also traveled to Wayne Memorial for the Freshman Invitational.  They put together an amazing +108 point differential against Wayne Memorial (25-15, 25-8), Franklin (25-7, 25-20), Monroe (25-15, 25-16), Wyandotte Roosevelt (25-17, 25-20) and Port Huron (25-13, 25-11) to bring home the 1st place trophy.  The young chargers head into the week with a 12-2 record.

Coach Grenier and the Varsity Lady Chargers traveled to Grand Haven to take on some of the best programs in West Michigan.  Pool Play found them up against Portage Central (lost 21-25, 21-25), Grandville (lost 22-25, 24-26) and Zeeland East (won 25-19, 25-13).  They then advanced to the Silver Bracket where they defeated Stevensville Lakeshore (25-16, 25-13) and Zeeland East (25-6, 25-20) to finish in 5th place behind #5 Grand Haven, #7 Portage Central, #17 Forest Hills Central and HM Grandville.  They bring a 6-4 record into the first week of KLAA action.

All 3 teams will host John Glenn on Thursday beginning with the Freshman/JV at 5pm and the Varsity will follow at approximately 6:30 pm.  Come on out to Livonia Churchill High School to support the Lady Chargers.
