All 3 teams participated in a multi-team scrimmage on Wednesday. Livonia Churchill hosted the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams from Lakeland, Farmington, Sterling Heights, Garden City, and local powerhouses Mercy, Lake Orion, Northville, Grosse Pointe South and the 2015 Class A State Champ Novi Wildcats. The Freshman team traveled to Northville where they saw Lakeland, Lake Orion, Farmington, Novi and host Northville.
After only a few practices as a team following the multi-day tryouts all 3 teams rocked the house. Coach Grenier, Urban and Osborn were very happy with the way things went all day. There is lots of promise for the Charger Volleyball program in 2016 and beyond. Checkout the online schedule and be sure to get in the gym to watch the 2016 Chargers.
