Congratulations to Churchill Hockey's senior forward, John Doyle, on being selected as the Lawrence Tech University "Player of the Month" for December 2016!

John Doyle was instrumental in the Chargers' 5-1 record during the month of the December, scoring 8 goals and 14 assists in just 6 games. This included a hat trick (3 goals) against the state's top-ranked Brighton Bulldogs. Doyle currently leads the Chargers in overall scoring with 12 goals & 24 assists (36 total points).

The Churchill Hockey team is currently 8-2 in their regular season. GO CHARGERS!

The Churchill Chargers Varsity Hockey team took time, away from its busy in-season schedule, to volunteer service to the community over the holidays. In partnership with Livonia Goodfellows, players helped organize Christmas gifts and packages to be donated to the local community.

Another Churchill Varsity Hockey season is nearly here! Here are the details for the upcoming 2016-17 season, including Varsity Hockey tryouts:

2016-17 TRYOUTS

Monday, October 31st (3:30pm @ Devonaire Arena)

Tuesday, November 1st (3:30pm @ Devonaire Arena)

Wednesday, November 2nd (8-10pm @ Eddie Edgar Arena) 

All student-athletes are REQUIRED to submit a completed physical form in order to participate in Varsity Hockey tryouts. NO EXCEPTIONS!

PARTICIPATION FEES

All student-athletes selected for the 2016-17 Varsity Hockey roster will be responsible for the following participation fees (both due immediately upon selection*):

Pay-to-Participate Fee: $350

Hockey / Facility Usage Fee: $600

* Uniforms will be withheld until both fees have been submitted.

"MEET THE TEAM" NIGHT

All families selected for the 2016-17 Varsity Hockey team are required to attend a mandatory 'Meet the Team' meeting on Thursday, November 3rd at 7:00pm in the Churchill Cafeteria.
